First-time queens can be a bit unpredictable when it comes to timing, and Taiga was a perfect example of that. After a couple of false starts, she settled in, had a smooth and easy pregnancy and delivery, and her much-anticipated litter finally arrived on December 9 — with enough kittens for the waitlist and then some.
She brought us nine blue point beauties — five females and four males (as far as we can tell for now, anyway…), and somehow each one manages to be cuter than the last.
At the moment, six kittens are already spoken for. Once our waitlist families make their selections — after the kittens’ eyes open, around the two‑week mark — three kittens will be available.
If you’d like to select as soon as possible, you can
place a deposit
with EARLY Selection. If you’d rather skip the upgrade, you’re welcome to place a deposit for the Regular Waitlist and hope there’s still a kitten (or two) available once they reach eight weeks.
Full disclosure: it’s been a while since we’ve had colorpoint kittens, so I probably wouldn’t hold my breath.
UPDATE Dec 18:
Unless a family backs out, there will be NO kittens remaining after EARLY selections are complete. If someone DOES back out, we will go to the waitlist before making the kitten(s) available on the website.
If you’d like to join the waitlist just in case, or for Taiga’s next litter, you can place a deposit:
- with EARLY Selection to select a kitten before they are 8 weeks old.
- without EARLY Selection to select a kitten if there are still kittens remaining once they are 8 weeks old.
For the most current details, timelines, and availability, we keep everything updated on our Available Kittens page — that’s always the best place to check as selections unfold.
We’ll be sharing plenty of photos and videos as these little ones grow (you can see them in our shared iCloud album), and we can’t wait to watch their personalities start to develop. If one of Taiga’s babies has caught your eye, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help you figure out the details.
