Retired Cat Adoption Application

Welcoming a retired breeding cat into your home is a little different from adopting a kitten.

Our retired cats have spent their early years raising families and forming deep bonds within a cattery environment. They are confident, intelligent adults with rich histories — and now, they are ready for a slower pace defined by comfort, stability, and long-term companionship.

Some retired cats settle into a new home quickly, while others need time, patience, and gentle consistency to feel fully secure. This application helps us thoughtfully match each retired cat (or bonded pair) with a home that aligns with their individual needs, temperament, and life experience.

This is not a first-come, first-served process. Placement decisions are made carefully and intentionally, always in the best interest of the cats involved.

We do not always have retiring adults available at a given moment. However, we are always happy to accept applications for future placements. Submitting an application allows us to get to know you in advance, so when the right match becomes available, we can reach out thoughtfully and intentionally.

If, after reading through this, you feel that starting fresh with a kitten may be a better fit for your family, we invite you to explore our available kittens or learn more about our kitten adoption process. The right fit always comes first.
