NuVet for the win… again!

Okay, after having this happen several times over the years, I finally remembered to get photos!

I know there are a lot of supplements out there, and some people prefer to piece things together individually instead of using NuVet…

…but my God, I love this stuff.

Begamot has finally been on it consistently long enough that today, while I was just petting him, his mats literally started falling out.

I’ve been working on those same mats for weeks with no luck. I even have scratches healing on my hands from trying too early—every time I tugged before, he would growl, scratch, and bite (not horribly, but enough that I definitely felt it 😅).

Today though?

He didn’t even stop purring.

I just gently pulled… and they came right out.

They were still slightly attached, but loose enough at the base that they could release without pulling his skin. Before this, they were tight and would’ve just kept collecting more hair as his coat grew.

Same cat. Same coat.
The only difference = consistency for a couple of weeks.

And now that he’s been on it consistently, he really shouldn’t get mats like this anymore except maybe during heavy shedding season 😄

For anyone newer here, this is the supplement we’ve been using since November 2021. We sprinkle the powder on every serving of wet food, and it’s been one of the biggest differences in coat softness and mat prevention across our cats and kittens.

It’s called NuVet Plus Feline. It’s not sold in stores—you order it straight from NuVet with a code from a breeder or vet:

Online: www.nuvet.com/803283
Phone: 800-474-7044 (order code: 803283)

It also supports immune system health and gut health (prebiotics + probiotics), which is another reason we stick with it.

If you’ve seen this kind of “they just let go” moment with your cat, I’d love to hear about it 💛
