Christmas Kittens

Let’s Talk About Christmas Kittens

It’s that time again — the lights are barely up and my messages are already filling with: “Do you have Christmas kittens?”

So let’s chat about what that actually means.

🎄 What most people imagine

A fluffy little baby with a bow, going home on December 25th, photogenic and perfect.

Reality check?
For a kitten to go home on Christmas, they’d need to be born in September — and sadly, our mamas do not consult us about our preferred holiday timing.

In almost 10 years, it has lined up beautifully maybe 3 or 4 times… but it’s rare.
(We absolutely do happy dances when it works out — but I’m not going to delay a queen’s mating just to hit a specific date. Their health always comes first.)

🎄 What we can offer right now

Reservations for Marie Litter C — 8 kittens available (as of Nov 30)
These kittens will go home Jan 21–Feb 4, right in that perfect 12–14 week window.

Everything you need for an adorable Christmas reveal
Photos, videos, a printable announcement — whatever you’d like to wrap.

A personalized “meet your new kitten” holiday video
Plus in-person visits after the holiday so your future kitten feels familiar before go-home day.

Or a “future kitten” gift certificate
If you’d prefer the recipient to choose from one of our spring litters.

🎁 And honestly? Christmas week is a tough time for a kitten anyway.

Even at 12 weeks old (when our kittens typically go home), that first week in a new home needs to be quiet, predictable, and calm.

Holiday week?
…doesn’t exactly fit that.

Visitors, wrapping paper, travel, the tree, excited kids — it’s a wonderful season for humans, but a lot for a tiny creature who just left mom and siblings for the very first time.

🌟 But here’s the magical workaround:

Most of our families actually choose their kitten before the holiday.

Then on Christmas morning, they can share:

  • Photos of their kitten

  • Videos of their kitten playing

  • A sweet “your kitten is coming home soon!” reveal

  • A plush pretend-kitten

  • A name list

  • A little Siberian info bundle

We can also send you a holiday-themed “meet your new kitten” video to play on Christmas Day, and you’re welcome to schedule an in-person visit for after the holidays.

It keeps the magic — without overwhelming the baby or starting them off on the wrong foot.

❤️ So if you’re dreaming of a Christmas kitten moment…

The best way to do it is:
choose your kitten now, celebrate the reveal at Christmas, and bring them home once life calms down again.

You can see the current babies here or you can place a deposit for one of them, or reserve a spot in an upcoming litter — whatever you choose, we’ll make it magical and stress-free for both your family and your future fluffball.
