We almost never offer special discounts — many of our kittens are spoken for before they’re even born — but every now and then the timing lines up in a way that lets us extend a little seasonal generosity.
Marie’s Litter C surprised us with nine beautiful red and cream kittens, and this time many of our waitlist families were hoping for different colors or a later timing. Two kittens are already reserved, and another family is currently deciding between adopting one kitten or a pair. Depending on their choice, we will still have room for two to three sibling pairs to go home together from this litter.
We’ve already had a family take advantage of the holiday offer, which means FOUR kittens are already reserved, so we still have room for two more sibling pairs — or one pair and one trio — to go home together from this litter.
Since this litter naturally gives us such a lovely opportunity for pairs, we wanted to make it easier for the right families to choose two if that’s something they’ve been dreaming about.
Holiday Special: Double Second-Kitten Discount for Marie’s Litter C
We normally offer $150 off a second kitten when adopting a pair.
For this litter only — and only through Christmas — we’re doubling that:
**
$300 off the second kitten
(Marie’s Litter C only, now through December 25th)**
This special is limited to the natural number of sibling pairs available (two or three sets, depending on existing reservations). Once those pairs are spoken for, the holiday offer ends.
One Kitten vs. Two: What’s Actually Best?
There’s no wrong choice — it really just depends on your family’s priorities. Here’s the guidance we share with visiting families:
If the upfront cost is the biggest factor…
Starting with one kitten makes the most sense.
The ongoing costs aren’t double, though — kittens share toys, beds, litter boxes, and even leftovers. Most vets also charge only one office visit when two kittens come in together.
If you’re thinking about day-to-day life…
Two kittens are actually easier.
A single kitten needs a lot of hands-on entertainment, and bored babies invent mischief.
A pair will:
-
entertain each other
-
help each other burn energy
-
learn boundaries and social skills together
-
sleep better at night
-
grow into confident, well-adjusted adults
(And let's not discount that if you have multiple children, multiple kittens helps lessen the fighting over who gets to play with or hold the kitten next!)
If you care about the transition home…
Pairs settle in faster.
They comfort each other, feel safer, and adapt more easily to their new environment.
But truly — there’s a fit for every home, and we’re happy to help you talk through personalities, timing, budget, or anything else you’re considering.
Want to Meet the Kittens?
You’re welcome to schedule a visit, ask questions, or chat with us about what pairing (or single kitten) might be the best match for your family.
We hope to bless a family or two with this offer through December 25th. It's a wonderful opportunity to bring home the gift of two bonded kittens for the holidays from Marie's incredibly affectionate and adventurous new litter.
